The Prostate Centre The Prostate Centre is located in the beautiful city of Victoria, B.C. at Richmond Avenue and Fort Street across from the Royal Jubilee Hospital. They are a nonprofit, charitably funded organization that provides informational support to men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and to others interested in maintaining prostate health. The Prostate Centre makes available to visitors up-to-date information about prostate health and prostate cancer along with the opportunity to speak with knowledgeable and trained staff and volunteers. They are the first not-for-profit, community based prostate centre in Canada that relies solely on donations to achieve its goals. They opened their doors to the community on November 1, 2000 and since then have been very active in providing information to those affected by prostate cancer and prompting awareness of prostate cancer and prostate health.
