TEVIS BATEMAN

Tevis was born in Vancouver in 1988 and grew up in Coquitlam. After high school he enrolled in the Fine Arts program at Langara College. After two years in the program, he became interested in design and drawing and transferred to Emily Carr University for a Bachelor of Design degree. He will be attending third year in September 2010.

Outside of school, Tevis enjoys designing t-shirts, swimming, hiking and other outdoor activities. During high school, Tevis was on a local swim team and completed his lifeguard training. He now enjoys staying active by riding his bike through Vancouver. Recently, he is interested in bike mechanics and has been volunteering on Mondays at a local bike co-op. Here he is able to help around the shop while learning how to build bikes. Tevis is eager to help raise awareness and money for prostate cancer by riding across Canada and is excited to be part of this experience.
